Application Fee: $250.00

Program Fee $6,525.00
Au Pair Weekly Stipend: $176.85 per week beginning July 24, 2008
The au pair weekly stipend is subject to change based on the federal minimum wage.
Domestic Airfare
The domestic transportation from the Au Pair School in San Francisco to the home is paid for by the host family.
Educational Component: Up to $500 per year
(Mandated by the U.S. Department of State Regulations)
Program Fee covers: Trans-atlantic airfare; recruiting, screening and preparation of the au pair in the home country; health insurance; 32-hours of training at the "Au Pair School" in San Francisco; Documents to obtain the J-1 Visa; host family and au pair Orientations; au pair monthly meetings; year-long program support; and Agent Au Pair's commitment of a one-year program.
Extension Fees: Extension fees are a percentage of the program fee based on the number of months applicable (the program allows for 6, 9 or 12 month extensions). Please inquire for more information about the Extension Fees.
Extension fees cover: Legal extension of the J-1 exchange visitor program eligibility; au pair health insurance; program administration; and local representative support.
