TutorCare is a program that provides 30 hours of childcare per week to host families that have school-aged children.

This program is for families who require care primarily during the mornings before school and after school with some option for evening and weekend hours. The au pairs help the children with homework, driving to and from after school activities, provide supervisions, and act as a role model.

TutorCare au pairs are required to meet the standard au pair requirements to be considered.

Minimum Weekly Stipend Received by Au Pair: $146.81

Au Pairs in our TutorCare program are required to complete 12 semester credits of coursework at an accredited post-secondary institution during their program. Host families are required to provide up to $1,000 towards the au pair’s educational costs.

Extension au pairs are in country and have the option to extend for 6, 9, or 12 months. Most au pairs will extend with the same host family, however there are occasionally au pairs that are available for placement with a new host family.

Extension fees for the same host family and same au pair are a percentage of the program fee, and are dependent on the length of the extension (the program allows for 6, 9, or 12-month extensions).
