About Dawn
Dawn established her career managing academic homestay programs for F-1 international students prior to joining Agent Au Pair in 2017. In the early stages of her career, Dawn focused on gaining a wide range of experiences. This included teaching English in Korea, serving as a tour coordinator for more than 1,000 exchange students from 65 different countries, working as a scholar relations advisor for the congressional youth leadership conference in Washington, DC, and classroom management in a therapeutic day school for children on the Autism spectrum, among other activities. Additionally, she sought opportunities to contribute to her community by working as a hospice caregiver, volunteering for the Special Olympics, managing a group home, and supporting international Japanese students attending a nearby private college.
Dawn, a certified executive functions coach, is constantly looking to enhance support team efficiency at Agent Au Pair. Dawn and her husband are former foster parents who reside in the suburbs of Chicago. Having completed trauma-informed care (TIC) training, she has a framework for helping people who have experienced trauma.
