US Department of State – Agent Au Pair is a US Department of State designated J-1 Visa Au Pair Program Sponsor. The Au Pair Program has enabled thousands of international students with an affordable Global Education experience in the USA. The Au Pair program is highly structured and sponsoring organizations are audited annually to ensure they are in compliance with US Government requirements. The Department of State established the au pair program in 1986 as an educational and cultural exchange with a strong childcare component. The U.S. government designates certain sponsors to carry out the daily operations of the program and Agent Au Pair has been approved as one of the few designated sponsor organizations. Through the Au Pair Program, participants and host families take part in a mutually rewarding, intercultural opportunity. Participants can continue their education while experiencing everyday life with an American family, and hosts receive reliable and responsible childcare from individuals who become part of the family.
