Au Pair Matching, Visa & Arrival Process

Filling out your Application
Start your online application, gather your documents and record your application video. Make sure to put a lot of time into this step- a strong application will help you to match more quickly.
Take the iTEP Au Pair English Test
Non-native English speaking applicants start their journey with the iTEP English test to ensure that your language skills are strong enough to participate in the au pair program.

Interviewing and Matching
Interview with Families
Once your application is online you will start to get interviews. How quickly & how many interviews you get, will depend on many factors. Once you found a match, accept the family’s invitation in the system.
Prepare for your Au Pair Program with FLOW Speak
Once you match with a host family, Agent Au Pair gives you the opportunity to use the FLOW Speak App for one month, at no cost cost to you, to help you improve and build confidence in your English speaking.

Visa Application Process
Once matched, you will receive the documents to start the visa process. Pay your visa fees & complete your visa application. Attend your appointment & get your visa issued.

Training & Arrival
Once your visa is approved, Agent Au Pair will start to plan your travel to the US. Make sure to complete the pre-departure training before you depart. You will travel directly to your host family’s home and will attend the 3 days of virtual training school from your host family’s home.
