Hello, my name is Nathalia! I am an Au Pair in the state of Pennsylvania, United States, in a town called Elizabethtown.

I have been living here for a year and seven months (I extended my year with the same family). I take care of two children, one seven years old and one five years old. They are very loving and active children. We love going to the park and doing things together, my older girl loves to drink terere with me. My host family is super nice and they include me in all their plans. We exchange culture and I love showing them a little of my country by cooking them my favorite dishes and they love it. They love chipa guasu!

I have also known places like New York, Miami, Washington DC, Hawaii and more states through the program. I have friends of other nationalities with whom I have learned a lot, even if they speak my same language, we have learned many new words..🤩

Being an Au Pair opens your mind and you learn to be more sociable. It is an excellent opportunity to get to know cultures different from ours, be more independent and definitely good if you like to travel. Definitely this cultural exchange is very interesting, even more so if you like children. Before I came here I had many interviews with host families but I was always very clear about what I wanted from the family so it was worth the wait because I love my host family. I feel infinite love and gratitude to them❤️
