Beyond her caregiving skills, Maria has enriched our family in countless ways. She has shared her Colombian culture with us through food, traditions, and stories, giving our children early exposure to a broader world. She genuinely enjoys spending time and traveling with our family, and she approaches each experience with enthusiasm, curiosity, and warmth.

Maria has also shown an exceptional commitment to fully embracing life in the United States. In addition to her demanding caregiving responsibilities, she has taken on six hours of education courses each week, demonstrating her ambition and a genuine desire to learn. She actively seeks out opportunities to experience the city and the country, embracing American culture while thoughtfully sharing her own—embodying the true spirit of the au pair program.

What sets Maria apart most is her kindness and initiative. I cannot count the number of times she has gone out of her way—without being asked—to make our lives easier.
