New Au Pair School 2023!

Agent Au Pair kicked off the new year off with an upgraded au pair school program and curriculum! We took a closer look at some of the most common placement issues as well as feedback throughout 2022 to up our game even more and help set new au pairs up for success during their program year.

  2. Updated visual presentations for each of the 5 sessions with clear language and graphics to aid in the learning process for English language learners along with closed captions
  3. Interactive Google map of au pair USA cities to facilitate regional connections across the USA and teacher led engagement in a private WhatsApp group

We welcomed 35 au pairs from 20 countries for our January 2023 au pair school session! They are embracing cultural exchange in 19 different states across the USA.

5 Step Training Process for Au Pairs

Au Pair School is one part of Agent Au Pair’s 5 step training process for the au pairs in our program. Each step of the training process helps to prepare the au pair for a successful program year in the host family’s home as they explore the world through child care.

  1. 32 hours of pre-departure online training
  2. 8 hours of American Red Cross online training (as enrolled by the host)
  3. 15 hours of live Au Pair School instruction
  4. 3 Days “get to know you” and “preliminary training” (with the host)
  5. 60-90 minute orientation with the LC
