Host Family of the Year
Agent Au Pair celebrates the wonderful host families on our program every year through the Host Family of the Year contest. Au Pairs, this is your opportunity to share your story about your host family!
Nominating your host family is an incredible way to show appreciation for your host family and the ways they have affected your experience.
The deadline to enter your host family is Sunday, December 31, 2023.
How to nominate your host family
Fill out the form at the bottom of this page with the following information:
- Write 350 – 800 words about why your host family should win Host Family of the Year. Include characteristics that make your host family exceptional, your favorite memory with them, discuss the impact that your host family has had on your au pair experience, and include how you have shared your culture with each other.
- Include at least 5 photos with your submission. Please make sure there is at least 1 photo with you and the entire family.
- Have your host family sign the Photo Release form for their children in the photos.
- To be eligible, you must have spent at least 2 months in the host family’s home during the 2023 calendar year.
Only completed forms will be considered. The deadline to enter your host family is Sunday, December 31, 2023.
How the winners will be recognized
- First Place Winner – Host Family will have a choice of a $250 cash prize or $500 discount for their next program.
Second Place Winner – Host family will have a choice of a $100 cash prize or $250 discount for their next program.
Third Place Winner – Host family will also have a choice of a $100 cash prize or $250 discount for their next program. - All winners will receive recognition on our website and social media
- A certificate from Agent Au Pair and a copy of the letter submitted by their au pair
Host Family of the Year winners and their au pairs may be asked for follow up information and/or for additional photos. Photos of host children will only be used with parental consent.
