Hello, my name is Ale Luna, I’m from Mexico and Now I live with my Host Family in Kentucky. Almost 7 months after being in Kentucky, my mom sent me a box of Mexican things for my Host Family.

The host kids received a jersey and a blanket. My host dad received a cap and an apron to grill the meat like a good Mexican, my host mom received a winter hat, all the things from the Monclova baseball team (Acereros) and my mom sent us all flour tortillas, which are the most famous in my city for being so delicious.

I was very excited when I saw the box because it feels like a hug from mom no matter the distance made me feel very close to her”
