Agent Au Pair does not mandate that Au Pairs, Hosts or Local Coordinators receive the Covid-19 vaccine as a program requirement. It is the responsibility of the Host and Au Pair to discuss vaccination status and preferences during the interview and matching process before au pair arrival.
Hosts may choose to require all household members be vaccinated, including their Au Pair. This must be communicated to the Au Pair and agreed upon before au pair arrival. Hosts may ask Au Pairs for proof of their vaccination status during the interview and matching process.
Some colleges, universities, community organizations and events may require an FDA Approved COVID-19 Vaccine to be eligible for in-person attendance of classes and events. It is the responsibility of the Host and Au Pair to confirm the requirements of their local colleges/universities prior to enrollment.
