Covid-19 Vaccines
Starting November 8, 2021, new Au Pairs will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter the United States. Vaccines must be approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or the World Health Organization (WHO) to fulfill this requirement. Hosts should confirm proof of vaccination status with Au Pairs during the interview and matching process.
Agent Au Pair does not mandate that Au Pairs who entered the program prior to November 8th, 2021, be vaccinated. Hosts and Local Coordinators are not currently required to receive the Covid-19 vaccine as a program requirement. It is the responsibility of the Host and Au Pair to discuss vaccination status and preferences.
Some colleges, universities, community organizations and events may require an FDA Approved COVID-19 Vaccine to be eligible for in-person attendance of classes and events. It is the responsibility of the Host and Au Pair to confirm the requirements of their local colleges/universities prior to enrollment.
