International and American In Country Au Pairs

We understand the demand for in country au pairs is extremely high due to the suspension of new au pair arrivals. We are actively communicating with our current in country au pairs as they come close to their program end date. Please continue to check for available au pairs, as we are continuously updating our website with au pairs as they choose to extend with a new host family!

Agent Au Pair is excited to announce our new program, American Au Pair. This program was developed to help you find childcare during the au pair program hiatus in response to the Presidential Proclamation, which prohibits us from bringing J-1 Visa Au Pairs into the United States until January 1, 2021.

 

Presidential Proclamation Exceptions Announced

On July 18th, 2020, seven exceptions were announced for the Presidential Proclamation that suspended new au pair arrivals until January 1, 2021. Please understand, that an exception doesn’t guarantee approval for your au pair candidate’s visa.

If you do not fall into one of the seven exceptions, Agent Au Pair is planning for January 2021 arrivals. We have many available au pair candidates who are excited to participate in the au pair program, and are willing to wait until January 2021!

 

Virtual Support Network

Due to the ever-changing conditions with COVID-19, Agent Au Pair has suspended all in-person Monthly Meetings and Au Pair Orientation in an effort to protect our au pairs and host families. We have transitioned to virtual Monthly Meetings and Au Pair Orientations to help flatten the curve.

Agent Au Pair’s Virtual Support Network was created to offer au pairs additional support during their program. Our Regional Support Facilitators are available to support all of our au pairs!

Our Virtual Support Network will be offering:

– Monthly virtual personal development webinars

– Wellness Wednesdays in our Facebook group, Agent Au Pair Connections. We will be sharing tips for self-care and tips for recharging for the rest of the week

– Virtual Fieldtrip ideas for au pairs to explore with their friends or host kids. Every month we will share details and virtual guides for you to explore!
