Agent Au Pair is Exempt from Visa Suspensions as a member of US Chamber of Commerce
The Trump Administration extended Presidential Proclamations 10014 and 10052 through March 31, 2021, which suspends several immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, including a number of J-1 programs. However, as a member of the US Chamber of Commerce, Agent Au Pair is exempt from the visa bans.
The biggest hurdle through this process is the back log of embassy appointments. Our recommendation is to continue to review au pairs and match if you find the right fit to start the visa process.

Celebrating the Holiday Season
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Secret Santa! For the third year in a row, Agent Au Pair has put together a holiday gift exchange for our au pairs as many of them are away from their families for the first time for the holiday season.
It’s a great opportunity for au pairs to make new friends and support each other. We love seeing the smiles on au pairs’ faces as they receive their gifts. This year we had 23 au pairs, local reps, and staff participate!
