Are you looking for your next au pair?

Agent Au Pair is constantly monitoring wait times for Embassy appointments. Please understand that arrival time frames are longer due to delayed embassy appointments and flight bans. If you would like to see wait times for embassy appointments in various countries please click here.

Au Pairs may be approved under the National Interest Exceptions (NIE). The NIE includes the travel by an au pair to provide childcare services for a child whose parents are involved with the provision of medical care to individuals who have contracted COVID-19 or medical research at United States facilities to help the United States combat COVID-19. If you think your family may qualify click here for the letter template.

Please note that a flight ban is still in place for the Schengen area, Brazil, South Africa, China, the United Kingdom, Ireland, India, Iran, and the European Union countries. If your au pair is approved for the NIE, the flight ban does not apply and they should be able to directly travel to the US.

Virtual Three Day Au Pair School

Even though we are virtual we are still spending three fun filled days together! Throughout the three days of Au Pair Training School, au pairs will have an opportunity to meet others who are also beginning their program year and partake in a custom program designed to educate au pairs on child development and safety and to ensure they have an understanding of the great responsibility that comes with being an au pair for an American family.

Featured Monthly Meeting

Local Reps: Radhika & Roger

Virtual Monthly Meetings have allowed our Local Reps to team up to have joint meetings! This is a great opportunity for our au pairs to meet other au pairs staying in different parts of the United States. Agent Au Pair has decided to keep our Monthly Meetings virtual until January 2022.

“The main activity and general purpose of this meeting was to introduce everyone in the group to each other and get to know each other better. We made a list of questions to ask the Au Pairs: such as which home country they are from, what city they are current living in, how long they have been in the program, a fun fact about themselves, what differences they have noticed in the US vs their home countries, as well as their birthdays and which holidays they celebrate throughout the year!”

Featured Local Rep

Marissa Santos from Issaquah, Washington

Since I was young, my dream was to travel around the world and meet new places, people, and cultures.

I think the fact that I am a former au pair but I am also a mother, makes me capable with the Local Rep role as I can understand both sides of the placement. This position gave me the opportunity to learn from families and au pairs better. I love to work with all of them and it feels awesome every time someone tells me I do a good job and I helped them.
