Au Pairs provide up to 45 hours of childcare per week for a weekly cost of approximately $372.

It’s Time to Let the Kids Shine This Summer

We’d like to invite Au Pairs and host children to participate in the Summer Sidewalk Chalk Art Challenge together! The focus is to honor and appreciate the host child experience within the au pair program while creating a bonding experience between child and Au Pair. Agent Au Pair promotes healthy and productive Au Pair and host child relationships and we are excited to hear from the kids this summer!

So You Want To Travel Internationally with Your Au Pair

There are a few things you need to do before traveling internationally with your au pair during the first year of their program! As your au pair’s sponsor, Agent Au Pair needs to be aware of all international travel. Au pairs need to send their DS-2019 form and envelope 30 days prior to traveling to get signed. If your au pair’s DS2019 form is not signed, your au pair risks the possibility of not being able to reenter the United States.

Additional information on traveling can be found here. Agent Au Pair does not recommend traveling internationally with your au pair during the second year of their program.

Creating Cards for Hospitalized Kids

The Southern California/Arizona Cluster kept a yearly May tradition of making cards for hospitalized kids. Having missed last year due to the Pandemic, they moved their card making party online! Some of the Au Pairs are going to do this activity with their kids and mail off their cards to be distributed to hospitalized kids.

Become a Local Representative with Agent Au Pair!

We are growing our Local Rep Network and are actively seeking individuals who are passionate about cultural exchange to join our team! Local Reps work part-time from home; supplementing their income supporting host families and Au Pairs during their program year. They are responsible to ensure the well-being of the exchange visitor as trusted mentors and provide top-notch client services to their host families while upholding program rules and regulations!

Featured Local Rep

Ophelie from Portland, Oregon

I wanted to become a Local Representative as soon as I decided to stay in the US. I wanted to be able to help Au Pairs and Host families to have the best experience they could have, just like I did. The agency really cares about them and has the same goals as I have: create great matches and be there for them! Since I’ve been there I can truly relate to the Au Pairs experience and give them advice.

My favorite part is getting to know all the cultures from my Au Pair group and help them get great memories and discover American culture.
