  • Embassy closures in Russia and Belarus
  • Ukraine is moving its Embassy with the hopes of offering limited services
  • Georgia has limited available Embassy appointments
  • We have noted higher Visa denials in Kazakhstan and Thailand

Please note that this is just a snapshot of the current situation. Agent Au Pair and our partner agents are closely working together to navigate any changes. Introducing Our New Host Mom Blogger!

We are excited to introduce Jamie Jarmon-Williamson as our newest Host Mom Blogger!

“We are the Jarmon-Williamson family. We consist of my husband, Josh, daughters Liliya and Alina, myself (Jamie), and our current amazing Au Pair Nasrin from South Africa. Due to the pandemic, our journey to get Nasrin here was not an easy one. I was speaking with Nasrin since February 2021, and a lot has happened between then and our eventual in-person meeting. It took a lot of patience on both Nasrin and our fronts to make this union work. However, because of all our persistence and the desire to not give up, Nasrin and my family finally met this year in January 2022!”

Meet Our Au Pair of the Year – Liyedy

“What would we do without Lily” is a phrase often uttered in our house. From the day Lily arrived she has been exceptional. Lily is kind, responsible, flexible, and fun. Above all she has a big heart. She cares so much about our family, especially our baby (and our dog Mara). When she leaves the house whether for a few hours or a weekend trip, she always makes sure to give our baby a hug and tell her “I love you and I’ll miss you”.

As a dual career household, Lily is the glue that keeps it altogether. Going back to work after having a baby was a hard decision, and I was worried about leaving our baby with someone else. After only about a week of knowing Lily, I knew that I would never worry about our baby’s wellbeing when she is with Lily.

Featured Local Coordinator

Paige from Madison, Alabama

I love the LC position because it’s given me an opportunity to learn more about Alabama and connected me with people from a variety of countries.

I enjoy meeting with the au pairs each month to learn more about them and the customs/traditions in their home countries while also teaching them about the background behind many US customs and holidays.
